🎬 Start by choosing if you are a boy or a girl, a classic element of Pokemon Games that does not go away. Another classic element is choosing your starter Pokemon, and in this game, you have a choice from these three:

🥳 You can add all three to your party, since this is a bit different from most other games in the genre. How awesome, right? You can have up to six creatures in your party at all times.

⚔️ Win your first battle!

🤪 You meet a wild Pokemon right from the get-go, so send out one of your creatures, and choose what to do:

🥊 Choose to fight, so you can get the hang of this, since battles are at the core of this game. Choose your move to send out an attack. Defensive moves will be learned later on. Then, your enemy also makes a move. It's a turn-based battle system!

🪫 Deplete the Pokemon's health bar (health points), and make it go empty to win! If they do the same to your creature, you lose instead. The stronger your Pokemon becomes, the more HP it will have.

🪝 If battling a wild Pokemon, like in this first battle, when they are weak enough, choose the Ball option to throw it at them and capture them, effectively adding them to your party. Catch a big and diverse roster of Pokemon so that you can be ready for any battles!

🎁 Choose your prize!

📦 After every battle you win, you can choose a prize out of six options, which can be consumables, Pokemon held items, or even permanent items. For example, we had to choose between:

💪 Use the items to replenish health, gain back attack powers, and make other repairs or improvements that you can make to your Pokemon, because a new battle will follow, with a new enemy. Be prepared!

🪙 As you advance and win coins, you will also be able to purchase these items from shops, not just win them after battles.

🤼‍♂️ Fight the other trainers!

🆚 After training enough in battles against wild Pokemon, if you choose the run option, your first trainer opponent appears. These battles are harder, since the moves of their creature are also directed by a trainer, instead of them being the decisions of wild Pokemon. Can you defeat all the trainers?

⬆️ With Experience (XP) comes Growth (Leveling Up)!

📈 After each battle you win, you earn experience points for that Pokemon, and when they gain enough, they level up. The higher the level of your Pokemon, the stronger they are, so keep winning, get stronger, and evolve into new forms when leveling up has been done enough!
